Aaron Jeffery

Award-winning New Zealand actor Aaron C. Jeffery is from Australia. He is best
known for his parts in the film Terry Watson in Water Rats as well as Alex Ryan
in McLeod's Daughters and as Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in Wentworth.
Born in Howick, Auckland, Jeffery moved to Australia at the age of 17 to study
acting at NIDA. After graduating from NIDA, he began his TV career with the
children's program Ship to Shore. Jeffery is best known for his character Alex
Ryan in the drama McLeod's Daughters, which he left in 2008. He was also a part
of the third season of Outrageous Fortune, a New Zealand drama. Jeffery played
Frank in Underbelly: Badness. Filming was completed on the 22nd of June. The
casting announcement for Neighbours' Bradley Fox was made three days later. In
October, it was revealed that Jeffery had been assigned as a corrections
officer in the series Wentworth. He also starred in the Bevan Lee series
Between Two Worlds for the Seven Network. In April 2021 , it was revealed that
Jeffery was to appear on Pieces of Her, a Netflix thriller series that was
adapted from the Karin Slaughter book. Jeffery's role on McLeod’s Daughters won
him the Silver Logie in 2007 and 2004.
