Rashida Jones
Rashida Jones was born in Los Angeles,
California, the younger daughter of media mogul, producer, and musician Quincy
Jones and actress Peggy Lipton. Kidada Jones is her older sister. She has five
half-siblings from her father's other relationships. Her father is African
American and her mother is Ashkenazi Jewish (a descendant of refugees from
Russia and Latvia). Rashida was raised in Reform Judaism. Her birthplace was
Bel Air, Los Angeles. Jones stated that her mixed-race parents were not
accepted by society until the 1970s. Jones' professional acting debut was in
The Last Don (1997) the mini-series based on Mario Puzo's novel. Rashida was
also a Harvard University graduate in 1997. She was a student at the Buckley
School in Sherman Oaks (California). The most likely candidate to suffer. The
name she uses is Arabic (O+-O'UO-O(c)) for "Major adult, mature older or

Kidada Jones. Kidada as well as Rashida's brother Quincy Jones III composed the
song. Quincy Jones III, their father, was also featured at the beginning of the
song, reciting Shakur's lines "Starry Night". Shakur's poem is the
source for the song's title. Rashida's father was African-American and also has
smaller amounts of English, Scottish, and Welsh as well as Welsh ancestry (some
of his African ancestral ancestors came from the Tikar people of Cameroon). Rashida's
mom, Ashkenazi Jewish (of Russian Jewish heritage and Latvian Jewish heritage),
is Rashida. Her paternal grandparents are of South Carolina and Mississippi,
respectively. Her maternal grandfather is from New York and her maternal
grandmother was from Eastern European Jewish descent, was born in Dublin,
Ireland. She has been playing three characters known as "Karen" since
2009 on the popular TV comedy show Freaks and Geeks (1999), Stella (2006), and
The Office (2005).
